“People Meet at Motek”
Paul Eberhard Schall, managing shareholder of P.E. Schall GmbH, welcomed large numbers of press representatives to the MOTEK press conference with these words. This slogan, which has been relevant in the past and will certainly continue to be so in the future, also expresses the great importance which is placed upon the leading trade fair for handling and assembly technology. Roughly 1000 companies from 17 countries are exhibiting at MOTEK in order to meet with their customers, and to point the way to the future – because MOTEK is known for its comprehensive offerings including the latest technologies, products and solutions for rational manufacturing and assembly technology, and, as a virtual trade fair platform, is well on its way to expanding sales and communications channels for exhibitors and visitors as well.
Virtual Trade Fair
The virtual trade fair is a marketing concept which is 100% target group oriented. Supply and demand are ideally matched to each other by providing product information with product presentations at an individually adaptable trade fair booth with links to further company, product and user information, as well direct lines of communication to the respective contact person without any time restrictions. The option of being able to profit from an individualised, virtual trade fair visit in a selective and comprehensive fashion by researching the current state-of-the-art for available industry offerings increases user benefits 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, worldwide!
Exhibitor presentation options go far beyond the simple display of a virtual trade fair booth and product representations. Each exhibitor can individually and actively shape his own presentation with logos, company portraits, images and videos. And P.E. Schall GmbH provides implementation support with its IT specialists. All MOTEK exhibitors participate in this future oriented communication platform, and inform visitors about their trade fair offerings at their virtual booths. On the average, Schall’s trade fair websites are accessed 90,364 times per month, which will now be linked to the virtual trade fair. Have a look at www.schall-virtuell.de.
Pointing the Way to the Future
Companies who want to sharpen their competitive edge make far-reaching decisions and exhibit at MOTEK. When asked how much importance they place upon MOTEK, all exhibitors responded unanimously that they hold this unique platform in high esteem as an ideal interface between system suppliers, suppliers and customers. Far-reaching decisions are necessary in order to secure one’s own competitive edge. And the fact that MOTEK will move to the new Stuttgart Exhibition Centre in 2007 must be viewed within this context. This decision, which is strictly of a business nature, was announced several weeks ago and elucidated once again at MOTEK’s opening press conference by Paul Eberhard Schall, managing shareholder of P.E. Schall GmbH, causing quite a media stir. As of 2007, the leading trade fair for handling and assembly technology, namely MOTEK, will take place at the new Stuttgart Exhibition Centre. This venue will open up Europe’s most attractive markets to MOTEK exhibitors and visitors at the most innovative exhibition centre in Germany, if not throughout all of Europe. The trade fairs organised by the Schall group of companies can only be kept fit for the future by supporting the legitimate interests of many exhibitors, who have been expressing their desire to move away from Sinsheim for years due to a lack of sufficient floor space and an inadequate infrastructure. Exhibitors will be provided with ideal opportunities at the new Stuttgart Exhibition Centre for more comprehensive presentation and better positioning.
The MOTEK will be open at the Sinsheim Exhibition Centre through Friday the 30th of September, 2005. Opening times are daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
