Stronger, More International and More Successful than Ever:

Motek
Flowplayer

MOTEK 2012 – the leading international trade fair for handling, assembly and automation technology invites the industry to its 31st event at the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre from the 8th through the 11th of October, 2012.

The MOTEK international trade fair for handling, assembly and automation technology is the world’s leading event in the fields of production and assembly automation, feed technology and material flow, streamlining and handling technology, as well as industrial handling. And thus MOTEK is the only trade fair to focus clearly on all aspects of mechanical engineering and automation in order to provide users of all sizes from the relevant industry sectors with decisive competitive advantages. Together with the concurrently held BONDexpo trade fair for industrial bonding technology, it constitutes a powerful trade fair duo which provides the industry’s future issues with an ideal platform.

MOTEK 2011:
Significant Growth and an Unbridled Sense of a Dawning New Era

MOTEK was in top form on its 30th anniversary in October 2011: With 36,852 expert visitors, of whom 20% came from outside of Germany, the trade fair duo consisting of the 30th MOTEK and the 5th BONDexpo experienced 18% further growth in comparison with the previous year! Already on the first day of the event, the exhibition halls filled up early in the morning and the influx of visitors, which came from a total of 96 countries, continued right on up to the early evening, pushing the consulting capacities of booth personnel to their limits. Customers and other interested parties from manufacturing companies demonstrated great willingness to invest, so that the great majority of the 1051 exhibitors (945 at MOTEK and 106 at BONDexpo) from 21 nations who occupied overall floor space amounting to 685,000 square feet, rated the event in 2011 as very successful and expected good to very good post-event business.

MOTEK 2012:
The world’s leading trade fair for handling, assembly and automation technology welcomes the industry to Stuttgart.

The highly successful MOTEK 2011 once more confirms the absolutely conclusive mix of products and offerings, as well as MOTEK’s undisputed reputation as the world’s leading trade fair for handling, assembly and automation technology. MOTEK is thus the only technical event which presents the entire world of automation – from components and subsystems, right on up to complete solutions. In contrast to events which cover components only, or just present custom systems based on special customer requirements, this provides expert visitors including engineers and users with the advantage of being furnished with interdisciplinary approaches ranging from detail solutions right on up to ready-to-install system solutions. A world-class supplementary programme that’s dedicated to the forward-looking issues with which the industry is concerned rounds out the comprehensive offerings.

Target Groups

This type of highly consistent target-group orientation is one of MOTEK’s secrets of success, which is held at the heart of Germany’s economically strong southern industrial region – in the middle of Europe – and plays a leading technology and business role within the sector. Focal target groups for MOTEK topics include automobile, machinery and equipment manufacturing, the electrical and electronics industries, medical engineering and solar production, as well as the metal and plastic processing industries in general, and their suppliers.
