27th MOTEK is casting its shadow before
The MOTEK international trade fair for handling and assembly technology is pushing its way forward once again in 2008: more pavilions, 900 firm bookings already received, leading international event at the right location, detail and system solutions for sustainable honing of the competitive edge.
Just over 4 months has elapsed since the last MOTEK international trade fair for handling and assembly technology, and more than 8 months remain before the 27th MOTEK opens its doors, but longstanding project manager Rainer Bachert is already able to report a genuine registration boom. “By the end of January we already had a sensational number of bookings from slightly more than 900 exhibitors. All of our expectations have thus been substantially exceeded, even for the new venue at the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre”, indicates Bachert in a recent statement.
Already More than 900 Bookings 8 Months Before the Event
This exceptional demand – with regard to quality as well as numbers – impressively confirms the strategy of Europe’s leading private trade fair promoter, P. E. Schall GmbH & Co. KG, which emphasises taking trade fairs to the heart of the market where demand is greatest. It doesn’t take all too much imagination to arrive at the conclusion that roughly 1200 exhibitors from all over the world will travel to southern Germany’s high-tech region at Stuttgart for the 27th MOTEK which will take place from the 22nd through the 25th of September, 2008, with the started objective of presenting their products and services to international expert visitors in an adequate fashion, and generating good business as a result.
Seven pavilions are now earmarked for the trade fair.
Floor space capacity must once again be drastically increased in 2008 for MOTEK, which is already the most important tenant by far at the new Stuttgart Exhibition Centre. Pavilions 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9, as well as 6 and 8, will be entirely reserved, and a majority of all available floor space in Stuttgart has thus already been booked. Further dramatic increases in exhibitor numbers from both inside and outside of Germany, as well as strong interest in attending the internationally recognised, accompanying seminar programme, indicate that MOTEK is at the very top of the scale with regard to its importance to the exhibitors.
Industry Meeting Place with a Personal Touch
The same applies verifiably to the international expert visitors who poured into Stuttgart for the last MOTEK in previously unparalleled numbers. Not only were they able to gather comprehensive information regarding opportunities for streamlining and automation in assembly, production and logistics, they were also able to take a close look at multi-sector offerings for complete handling, robotic and material logistics systems, and gain appropriate decision making security for upcoming investments. This alone is the purpose of an industry meet like the MOTEK international trade fair for handling and assembly technology, which capably promotes contact between suppliers and users in a very personal manner.
